Easy 3-Step Setup

Put Clock in Pairing Mode Press and hold down the top button on the clock for 2 to 3 seconds until the Bluetooth icon on the display blinks.

Tap "Sync Clock Time" Click the large blue button below to begin the connection.

Select Clock in Popup In the Bluetooth chooser popup, tap your clock (e.g. Qingping Temp & RH Clock or CGD1) and select Pair.
Why does the clock show the wrong time twice a year?

The Qingping clock hardware maintains time using a hardware real-time clock chip, but does not have built-in calendar rules for Daylight Saving Time (DST). When our clocks "fall back" to Eastern Standard Time (EST, UTC-5) in November or "spring forward" to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC-4) in March, the clock's internal timezone offset must be updated.

The official Qingping / Mi Home app forces users to register and log into cloud accounts just to push this setting. This webpage uses the local Bluetooth LE protocol to directly update both the timezone offset and the exact time to the second, without needing any app, account, or cloud server.
